    There are over 200 miles of dog sledding trails at this location. The tours are offered by a family business that can take you out from anywhere from 1 hour to 2 days. On these trips, you will get to speed around trails near Mammoth Hot Springs, Bozeman, and Chico Hot Springs. This area gets over 500 inches of snowfall per year, so there is plenty of snow for the trails!

    Wintergreen Dog Sled Lodge, Ely, Minnesota

    This area is commonly referred to as the dog sled capital of the United States. This place offers lodge-to-lodge dog sledding excursions. So, if you are looking for a longer and more extreme dog sledding adventure, then this is an excellent option for you. However, they also work with beginners here. The National Geographic Magazine has named Wintergreen Dog Sled Lodge the best place in the US to go dog sledding.
