LED LENSER, a Leatherman Tool Group, Inc. company, launched their innovative and neon NEO headlamps at the 2014 Outdoor Retailer Show in Salt Lake City, Utah on August 6th-9th, 2014. The LED LENSER NEO headlamps are an affordable and wearable light intended for active outdoor enthusiasts.

LED LENSER created the compact and petite NEO series with the sports enthusiast in mind. The headlamps are designed to be a portable, lightweight companion to take along anywhere. The vibrant lights are available in orange, green, blue, yellow and pink neon colors.

“NEO is designed for all kinds of people and all ages: those who need an emergency light, who do recreational outdoor activities after dark, or want to go for a late night run or jog. The opportunities are pretty wide,” said LED LENSER Product Manager, Chris Currah.

NEO will run on 3 AAA batteries and have a battery life of ten hours. Functional features include 90 lumen light output, a rear red safety light, and a revolutionary 150° ultra-wide dimmable beam. The headlamps will come with three easy-to-use lighting modes made possible with LED LENSER’s Smart Light Technology. Every lamp will also be backed by the LED LENSER industry-leading five-year warranty.

“It’s less than two ounces, you almost forget it’s there,” said Currah. “We wanted something that was compact and packed with technology, but still fun. It’s a great design by LED LENSER.”

The NEO has a MSRP of $25.00 and will begin shipping in September.
