Build your team to run, Day 3 of Outdoor Retailer Summer Market, Friday, August 8 at 6 a.m.

Ragnar Relay Events and Outdoor Retailer (OR) have teamed up to stage a Relay Challenge in support of the Outdoor Industries Women’s Coalition (OIWC). The event slated for Friday, August 8th is a 9-mile relay race held on day three of the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market.  This is a great opportunity for show attendees to get out of their booths, stretch their legs and network.  Interested participants can now register online. All proceeds will benefit OIWC and their mission to enhance workplace diversity.

Relay teams of three will enjoy a morning run on a looped course that conveniently starts at The Pavilions @ OR across from the Salt Palace Convention Center. The mini Ragnar Relay race will take runners on a steady climb to the entrance of the Canyon followed by an exhilarating descent back to the start. The race starts and finishes with plenty of time to get back for the opening of Outdoor Retailer’s day three of business.

We are excited to support our running segment and running enthusiasts in attendance at Summer Market with such an interactive platform,” said Liz Crawford, Outdoor Retailer Group Marketing Director. “We are equally happy to support the OIWC. They are such a worthy cause, as they work tirelessly to support the needs of women and diversity in our industry.”
