Axial Fans are Heart of Engine Room Ventilation

Delta "T" Systems offers a wide variety of axial fans.

Marine engines require a continuous supply of fresh air to maintain maximum power, efficient operation and long life. Delta “T” Systems, the pioneer in engineered marine engine room ventilation, supports commercial and recreational applications with a wide variety of axial fans. Together with its moisture eliminators, dampers and control systems, Delta “T” axial fans form an expertly engineered ventilation package.

Not content to adapt technology from other industries, Delta “T” expressly designs and builds its products for the demands of the marine environment. Axial fans are available in Premium, Standard and Economy versions. Choices include single and three-phase motors, in 50 and 60 Hz and in a range of voltages, to fit any application for worldwide use. I-EEE-45 certification is also an available option.

All fan models are designed to prevent overload. Motors are rated to easily handle peak power input, which occurs within the range of normal operating pressures. Each features a corrosion-resistant aluminum hub secured directly to the motor shaft with multiple locking methods to ensure safety and reliability.

Fan blades are made from a non-corrosive, glass-filled polypropylene composite. Their high-performance airfoil shape creates exceptional airflow characteristics while minimizing fan noise. Delta “T” fan blade assemblies are factory-balanced at the hub, rather than on the blade, for smooth operation and longevity.

The Delta “T” Systems Premium axial fan line ranges from 12″-106″ in diameter with airflows up to 600,000 CFM. A lightweight, super-efficient, aluminum frame and sealed motor help to reduce power consumption and promote enhanced airflows. Premium fans are available in standard and custom sizes and are tested in accordance with AMCA Standard 210.

Each Premium fan’s flanged housing is welded marine-grade aluminum, with a choice of mill finish or powder-coated. An external junction box is mounted on the housing exterior to simplify installation while limiting performance loss due to airflow obstruction. Major assembly hardware is made of stainless steel for a long life.

Delta “T” Systems’ Standard axial fan lines utilizes epoxy-coated steel housings and was designed primarily for commercial vessels. They are available in eight standard sizes from 12″-48″ in diameter. These durable yet economical steel fans earned the unofficial title of “The Shipyard Series” due to their favor among commercial yards worldwide.

For those seeking value without sacrificing quality, Delta “T” Systems offers its Economy axial fans. They utilize lightweight Type 1 PVC housings and corrosion-resistant stainless steel assembly hardware. Economy fans are available in five standard sizes from 12″-24″ in diameter, with motors from 3/4 hp to 10 hp.
