Costa’s Colors Pop with New 2014 Limited Edition Styles

For outdoors enthusiasts looking to add a little pop of color to their spring season, Costa released five new limited edition frame options to select sunglasses for 2014. These vibrant, colorful styles are available in limited quantities at participating Costa retail outlets and online at while supplies last.

New frame color choices include the red-to-orange ombre Matte Sunset Fade and the fading blue Matte Caribbean Fade, available in Costa’s CaballitoCutCat Cay and Prop styles. Lens colors vary, with retail prices of these sunglasses ranging from $149 to $219. Cut and Prop are also new with the Matte Tortuga Fade, featuring a gradual tortoise-to-green frame.

The new lightweight, semi-rimless Austin style is offered for a short time in the Realtree® AP™ Pink camouflage pattern. It can be customized with Costa’s gray or copper patented color-enhancing 580P™ lenses. The limited edition Austin style retails for $179.

The opaque Matte Crystal with Blue Trim limited edition frame color gives Costa’s BlackfinCorbina,Saltbreak and Zane a whole new look. The blue no-slip Hydrolite™ rubberized interior trim and temple tips provide superior comfort fit, with a distinctive style. Lens colors include Costa’s 580P gray and 400G or 580G blue mirror, ranging in price from $169 to $249.

“These are frame colors you have to see to believe,” said Chas MacDonald, president of Costa Sunglasses. “They’re unique and bold, featuring all of the Costa performance technology and quality craftsmanship you’ve come to expect.”

Costa’s limited edition sunglass styles offer a lifetime warranty against manufacturer’s defects, and are hand-assembled in Daytona Beach. The brand is known for its 100 percent polarized 580 lens technology, which blocks yellow light from entering the eye, creating razor-sharp color enhancement and eliminating reflective glare.
