    Field Marketing Representative – Central

    Specialized Bicycles seeks a qualified, responsible and outgoing bike lover that is eager to travel 75%. This position requires you to create and manage a Specialized Demo trailer and fleet of bikes and equipment in the Western United States. The full time position includes but is not limited to: developing marketing plans for dealers, merchandising assistance, conducting product clinics, dealer communication, scheduling and planning events, event execution, promotion, and budget management. This position provides comprehensive experience for an individual seeking to pursue a career in sports management and marketing.

    HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

    • Manage approximately 8-12 events per month – Events on the road include store front, dealer demos, employee clinics, neutral site demos, a select number of corporate events, store visits, merchandising days, etc.
    • Keep event calendar for region current and complete
    • Educate and train the dealer base via product clinics, promotions, and resources to facilitate increased sales
    • Conduct formal and informal trainings customized to address product features, benefits, & promotions
    • Coordinate with SBCU professors to conduct Tech Clinics with dealers and customers
    • Assist dealers with merchandising and POP placement
    • Obtain and report back on consumer feedback from the field
    • Submit timely field reporting as specified by management
    • Work with sales reps and dealers to identify new opportunities to utilize demo bikes and trailer
    • Identify opportunities for co-marketing and branding of the demo program
    • Work with Field Marketing Manager to execute event logistics
    • Work with Field Marketing Manager to execute opt-in marketing programs (Spring Sale, In-store promotions, etc)
    • Track and report on the success of demo events
    • Co-manage the Test the Best events website

    WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN

    • An individual who is self-motivated, personable and willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
    • Must be task oriented and thrive on completing a wide range of projects with a proven ability to execute
    • Maintain superior professionalism defined by communication and organizational skills at the highest level
    • Ability to create and perform formal presentations
    • Event planning and execution
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Illustrator is a plus)
    • Strong mechanics skills strongly preferred
    • Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a DOT medical exam to drive a truck/trailer
