    Vice President, Commercial Portfolio Americas

    Duties:

    The VP Commercial Portfolio establishes the overall Commercial Leadership across brands or categories in the Americas region. Facilitate effectively the two-way commercial process across the Americas with particular emphasis on leveraging the strength of the full portfolio of Amer Sports brands, improving alignment between regional needs and global strategy, and achieving profitable growth in strategic areas. Ensure implementation of commercial strategy for the Americas in line with global brand or category direction through Regional and/or Global Commercial Directors. Effectively lead the Americas Commercial Leadership Team, across USA, Canada & Latin America, consisting of the Regional Commercial Directors as well as the GTM Marketing & Ecommerce Wholesale functions. Establish & drive best practices in commercial management across the team.  Establish effective commercial planning as a competitive advantage for the Group. Implement and align the commercial fundamentals through the Regional Commercial Directors across brands or categories (KBDs, KPIs, segmentation, Distribution Policy, Trade Terms, margin management etc.). Enable effective brand/GTM coordination and a two-way commercial process to optimally respond to market needs and trends and enable profitable growth. Champion a series of initiatives, in concert with all RCD’s in the Americas group, which drive process consistency & best practice across the portfolio. Play a leadership role in supporting the acceleration of Soft Goods growth in the region. Collaborate closely with Regional Sales management in identifying sales & distribution opportunities and enabling achievement of commercial targets. Drive key commercial initiatives throughout the region (increasing distribution, key account growth, in-store excellence, E-Commerce & Commercial Excellence). Support the strategic process & 3-year planning processes. Serve as a key member of the Americas leadership team, contributing to initiatives and plans to build the overall capability of the organization.

    Requirements:

    Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Sales

    Management or a related field of study, and ten (10) years of related experience.

    Experience must include: Sales and Commercial Management in the value-added consumer goods market with international background. Cross group working and coordination. Project Management on large scale projects. Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time within the region (USA, Canada, and Latin America).
