The Product Planner I will facilitate accurate and timely delivery of sourced product from supplier (manufacturer) to global distribution centers.

Responsibilities:

• Acts as main point of contact between vendor and K2.
• Responsible for collecting, creating and monitoring PO placement on behalf of the US and K2 subsidiaries.
• Collect and maintain records of full year forecasts for all regions by item.
• Monitors current production and alerts management of less than plan output. Develops remediation plan for any capacity/production shortfalls.
• Prioritizes production for vendors when issues arise during production.
• Create and maintain product financial models as needed.
• Give direction to vendors on packaging, documentation, and shipping to ensure smooth receiving at distribution centers
• Responsible for passing accurate shipping documents and related info to USA logistics and K2 subsidiaries.
• Responsible for accurate and current PO expected receipt dates in ERP system
• Aids the factory whenever possible in material /vendor issues

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year purchasing and or production planning experience
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficient in MS systems, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Accurate data entry and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independent of close supervision

Desired Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in business administration, purchasing or related field.
• Experience in MRP
