Last weekend, Jongensfontein, South Africa hosted its annual Vintners Surf Classic. Though the event had its share of ups and downs, one non-competitor may have had the ride of the day.

In a video released by ZagTV, Bernard Le Roux got more than he bargained for when he ran into a pod of dolphins, literally. The playful animals had been jumping the surf when one slammed head-first into La Roux’s board, knocking him off his feet.
