Ever wonder what it is like to be attacked by a shark? In anticipation of Discovery’s Shark Week, the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute has released footage captured from this underwater shark cam, REMUS. What begins as just surveying footage soon turns into something a little more personal, and deadly.

Only a few minutes into recording, the camera becomes the target of a great white shark attack. Equipped with six cameras, REMUS is able to catch unbelievable footage of the attack from multiple angles. The shark is so powerful that you can even hear a loud crunch as it attempts to make REMUS its afternoon snack.
