YETI Coolers Auctions Pink Cooler to Benefit American Cancer Society

YETI Coolers, makers of premium ice chests and accessories, announces it will auction off a one-of-a-kind pink Roadie cooler to raise awareness for the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM). All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society and YETI Coolers has agreed to match the top bidder up to $10,000.

“This year we made a single pink cooler with the American Cancer Society in mind,” says Corey Maynard, YETI marketing director. “We want to raise awareness with our consumers and give back to this important cause.”

Small but mighty, the Roadie is the best personal cooler available.  Built with the same hardy one-piece construction and ice-retaining insulation as our Tundra ice chests, this personal cooler is equipped with a heavy-duty stainless steel handle for easy carrying of up to 14 cans. The Roadie is grizzly proof when used with YETI bear-proof locks, just like its larger Tundra cousins.  The No Sweat Design prevents any embarrassing messes and the unbreakable, self-stopping hinges keep the lid propped open while you fish around for the perfect beverage.

The auction will be hosted on eBay Giving Works from October 14 to 17. For additional information, visit http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pink-YETI-Roadie-20-Cooler-/121194436932.

The NBCAM program is dedicated to increasing awareness about the importance of the early detection of breast cancer through a nationwide campaign held in October. During NBCAM, the American Cancer Society joins forces with many national public service organizations, professional associations, and government agencies to spread the message that early detection of breast cancer followed by prompt treatment saves lives.
