Best Amazon Prime Day Deals for Outdoor Adventurers

If you love to hike, camp, trail run, kayak and do so much more in the outdoors, Amazon's 2020 Prime Day deals have something great to offer you

An Amazon Prime subscription has been a game-changer for many of us who work and play in the outdoor space — we can get two-day shipping on many amazing products to just about any part of the U.S. or Canada. And probably the best day to check out the site is during the annual Amazon Prime Day deal event, which begins today! It will be held over two days this year, October 13 and 14. Usually this sale takes place in July, but because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the online retailer decided to delayed it a bit.

We’re not complaining: This is perfect for taking stock of fall and winter gear and seeing what may need an upgrade.

This shopping holiday has grown year after year, and for good reason: You can expect discounts on more than 1 million products, and the sales during these two days are usually better than Black Friday deals. If you don’t have a Amazon Prime membership, you can get one here.

We’re highlighting some of the best Prime Day deals that are perfect for all of us who enjoy adventure and nature. Because Amazon will be rolling out some of its deals gradually (and other deals called Lighting Deals are only available for a small time frame), not all of the event’s deals are in place immediately. Be sure to check back to this page often on Oct. 13 and 14! We’ll be updating this list throughout these two days as we hear about more and more great deals that fit your action lifestyle!

While we wait to hear what kind of items will be on sale, here are some goodies on Amazon that we have had our eyes on lately! If you want to pore over some sales right now, you can also check out what’s being featured on Deals Forum.
