    OluKai Supports TEDxMaui 2014

OluKai joins TEDxMaui for third consecutive year in on-going commitment to support thought-provoking discourse and regional innovation in Hawaii

Perfectly aligned with OluKai’s prolific commitment to strengthening regional innovation in Hawaii, this Sunday OluKai was proud to support TEDx Maui for a third consecutive year. The event, which took place on September 28, 2014 in Maui, Hawaii, brought together innovative and inspiring speakers and performers who have the courage to dream and change the world with revolutionary ideas.

Celebrating this year’s theme, “A Brilliant Life”, TEDxMaui’s all-day event continued the encouragement of global thinking and positive action. Recognizing the importance of connecting global luminaries and sharing progressive ideas with Hawaiian leaders as it relates to local cultural issues, the event perfectly aligns with OluKai’s Walk Story, an online series and on-going initiative to support and acknowledge those individuals who lead by simply doing; those who do not stray from challenging paths – who inspire others to follow despite the obstacles.

TEDxMaui is an independently produced version of the world-renowned TED conference – a national nonprofit organization dedicated to “ideas worth spreading”. The event was hosted by Maui’s Kainoa Horcajo and Lia Krieg and included inspiring speeches and performances from the following presenters. A livestreaming of the day’s event was hosted on OluKai.com.
