Industrial Revolution Named One of Inc.’s Fastest-Growing Companies for Fifth Year

Inc. Magazine has recognized Industrial Revolution in its 33rd annual Inc. 500|5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies list. For the fifth year, the Washington-based manufacturer and distributor of innovative outdoor accessories has appeared on the list, beating its 2013 ranking by 300 positions. Inc.’s 500|5000 fastest-growing list recognizes companies based on their annual percentage of revenue growth. Since 2011, Industrial Revolution has grown by 69%.

“Two things are unique about this company,” says Graeme Esarey, Industrial Revolution’s President. “We take great care of our customers and we build really unique functional products. Sounds simple but it takes a lot of hard work, and surrounding ourselves with passionate, high-integrity people has made it really happen for us.”

Thanks to a significant increase in manpower, Industrial Revolution has been able to dedicate more resources to research and development, sales and marketing of their proprietary brand, UCO, thus furthering their reach and market share in the outdoor lighting and match categories. Additionally, a new distribution agreement in 2013 for representation of the Morakniv® brand in the U.S. has contributed significantly to Industrial Revolution’s bottom line. Recently, the Morakniv Bushcraft Black Tactical knife was named as a Field & Stream Best of the Best for 2014 which drives demand in the outdoor market.

Honorees will be celebrated at the Inc. 500|5000 Conference and Awards Ceremony October 15th – 17th, 2014, at the JW Marriot Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix, AZ.
