    World-Class Cycler David “Tinker” Juarez to Compete in the Hampshire 100

    Premiere Ultra-Endurance Mountain Bike Race and Trail Run, August 17

    • 8th Annual Hampshire 100 is hosted by the Eastern Fat Tire Association and brings more than 500 endurance racers from across the U.S. and Canada to compete at Pro/Elite, Expert, Sport, and Novice Levels
    • Races include:
      • 100-mile ultra endurance mountain bike race
      • 100km endurance mountain bike race
      • 100km ultra trail run
    • Racers will wind through the diverse terrain in the towns surrounding Greenfield, including a traverse of Crotched Mountain
    • Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center’s Accessible Recreation and Sports (CMARS) program, which brings people with disabilities together with family and friends in a range of accessible recreational and sport activities, and the Hampshire 100 both support healthy living and quality competitive athletic programs and events. For the past seven years, CMARS has been a beneficiary of a portion of the proceeds from the Hampshire 100.

      • Juarez is a world-famous cycler, finishing third in the 2006 Race Across America that covers 3,000 miles
      • Former professional BMX racer
      • Has won numerous national and international races

    Races begin as early as 5:30 a.m. with finishers expected around 11 a.m., pending race times and conditions
