    American Boat & Yacht Council Standard Updates Now Available

    Published by the American Boat & Yacht Council, supplement 54, the annual update to the Standards and Technical Information Reports for Small Craft is now available. A webinar outlining the changes is also offered for free to ABYC members and is available on demand through the ABYC website, www.abycinc.org.

    Revised standards include H-41 Reboarding Means, Ladders, Handholds, Rails and Lifelines; A-7 Liquid and Solid Fueled Boat Heating Systems; A-28 Galvanic Isolators; H-3 Exterior Windows, Windshields, Hatches, Doors, Port Lights and Glazing Materials; H-23 Water Systems for Use on Boats; H-27 Seacocks, Thru-Hull Fittings and Drain Plugs; H-40 Anchoring, Mooring and Strong Points; P-1 Installation of Exhaust Systems for Propulsion and Auxiliary Engines; and T-24 Owner/Operator’s Manual.

    The annual standards update is available to members for $79.95. Non-members can purchase the paper or CD versions for $475, or individual standards for $50.
