Princeton Tec Welcomes Brian McKinney as Outdoor Division Manager

    Brian McKinney joins Princeton Tec.

Princeton Tec, the market leader of U.S. manufactured headlamps and handheld lights for the outdoor, bike, tactical, industrial and SCUBA markets, welcomes Brian McKinney to the family as Outdoor Division Manager. McKinney is stepping in for longtime employee Justin Kline who will be shifting his focus to leading International Sales for the brand. McKinney will maintain and strengthen business relationships in the outdoor market stateside. The new addition and transition will provide a strategic foundation, both domestically and internationally, as Princeton Tec continues to grow and expand product offerings within the outdoor market.

“We’re excited to have Brian join the team and head up our outdoor division,” said Dave Cozzone, Princeton Tec’s Vice President. “His experience gained through sales and service at both Breezer and Fuji Bikes has already proven valuable leading up to this summer’s show season. And, this is an ideal move for the brand with Justin moving into international sales where he’ll be able to tap into his experience and longevity with PTec to help us grow outside the U.S. ”

Kline joined the lighting company as a sales associate in the outdoor division in 2006, and was promoted to division manager in 2008.  His leadership and involvement in the growth of Princeton Tec’s expansion in the outdoor – and bike – markets has been instrumental. Moving to international sales, Kline’s experience and business acumen will drive the brand’s business relations with distributors and retailers worldwide. Kline is currently touring Europe by bicycle, visiting with existing and prospective business partners.

A passionate cyclist and outdoorsman, McKinney naturally fits the breed that is Princeton Tec. Talented, proactive and  personable; McKinney’s positive attitude can be seen through his in-depth knowledge of the products and his eagerness to spark new business. As both an outside sales rep and product manager with Advanced Sports International, McKinney has developed a unique perspective that will allow him to build strategic relationships with outdoor retail partners across the country.

“I’m excited to contribute to the continued growth and strengthening of Princeton Tec’s relationship in the outdoor market,” said McKinney. “The company is coming up on its 40th anniversary and we really look to capitalize on the history behind this family run, ‘Made in America’ business.”
