Safety Components Welcomes Sales and Development Employee

    Kevin Maine joins Safety Components.

To help increase exposure and sales of its award-winning fabric, Safety Components expands its sales and marketing team. Kevin Maine will be working with marine, awning and other outdoor fabricators to bring attention to the technical and performance attributes of the company’s patent-pending fabric.

“Kevin brings a solid education and strong personal drive that will greatly benefit Safety Components and the WeatherMAX team,” said John Pierce, Safety Components’ WeatherMAX product manager.

“I plan to help increase sales and the market presence of WeatherMAX in marine, awning, and other markets as well as develop relationships with distributors and fabricators,” said Maine. “The WeatherMAX brand offers unique opportunities and superior performance.”

Maine was previously a market research intern for Uniforms Express, an exclusive partner of Reebok. He spent his time gaining consumer insight in an effort to better cater to the needs of university and high school coaches. A graduate of North Carolina State University, he has a BS in textile management with a concentration in brand management and marketing. Maine also served as a brand ambassador for Southern Tide, where he developed marketing events to increase brand awareness on NC State’s campus.
