Giro Supports Progressive Snowboarding Summer Camp
Giro Sport Design, the industry leader in progressive snow helmet and optics technologies, has announced a summer camp sponsorship partnership with High Cascade Snowboard Cam pas a helmet partner for their 2014 sessions.
“High Cascade Snowboard Camp defines progression in freestyle snowboarding, is the off-season training grounds of our top team athletes, and showcases the capabilities of Giro’s products,” said Brendan Murphey, Giro Brand Manager. “High Cascade is the best snowboarding terrain park in North America and the summer hotbed of freestyle snowboarding progression. Terrain parks and summer freestyle camps like High Cascade Snowboard Camp is where Giro staff and team riders test and develop new products like the Combyn, the flagship Soft Shell helmet inspired by park and pipe riding where repeated impacts are the inevitable price of progression, and the Blok goggle, a versatile goggle designed with team rider input which blends superior EXV technologyand function with classic style, which blends superior technology and function with classic style.The High Cascade Snowboard Camp relationship brings Giro together with organizations committed to progressing freestyle snowboarding. Camp attendees will see an increased Giro brand presence on campers, camp staff and coaches in Giro helmets products like the Combyn helmet and Blok goggle, during special events, as well as in marketing collateral and social media.

High Cascade Snowboard Camp plans to have six camp sessions over the summer months beginning on June 16, 2014 through August 12, 2014. Giro athletes Bryan Fox and Curtis Ciszek will be on hand for Signature Session #3 from July 6 to 13, 2014. Signature Session™ #3 will also play host to the Rat Race (presented by Drink Water) on Saturday, July 12th with all proceeds being donated to Water.org.
