Icebug Footwear Releases New Zeal Trail Shoe for Spring ‘15

Women's Zeal RB9X

After more than three years of product development and field-testing, Icebug Footwear is proud to introduce the revolutionary new Zeal trail shoe. Featuring Icebug’s newly developed ‘HGMS2’ technology, the Zeal provides unmatched stability and protection, all on a low platform providing better ground control for competitive and fast trail runners.

Short for ‘Holy Grail Midsole Soft and Stable’, the new HGMS2 midsole design provides a stable but soft heel grip combined with superior side and underfoot protection. The HGMS2 is also made with two different densities for maximum feel, comfort and protection, but in a super lightweight package.

The Zeal features a light-yet-durable nylon upper, and a new lacing system to ensure the close, comfortable fit that competitors want. The new Zeal is available with two different outsoles, the olx with 16 carbide steel studs and a unique tread pattern for ultimate control on the trail, or the RB9X sole that features Icebug’s special rubber compound and lug pattern for all around feel on wet or dry surfaces.

“The Zeal is the future in trail running, orienteering and OCR,” said Evan Wert, Icebug USA President. “The new HGMS2 midsole along with either of Icebug’s OLX and RB9X outsoles provides lightweight protection and extreme traction never before seen in trail running.”
