Kitsbow and Verde Announce Brand Communications Partnership

“Verde is a huge fan of Kitsbow apparel, and the mentality behind the brand—anything that is worth doing should be done with the best of what’s available. We’re ecstatic to be partnering with Kitsbow to further tell their unique story.”

Verde Brand Communications, a leading integrated brand communications agency in the active outdoor lifestyle markets, announces a partnership with Kitsbow, designer and manufacturer of high-end, technical mountain biking apparel for trail riding enthusiasts.

“Kitsbow brings a unique approach to mountain-biking apparel through its melding of craftsmanship and authenticity with quality and unique design,” said Kristin Carpenter-Ogden, founder and CEO of Verde Brand Communications. “Verde is a huge fan of Kitsbow apparel, and the mentality behind the brand—anything that is worth doing should be done with the best of what’s available. We’re ecstatic to be partnering with Kitsbow to further tell their unique story.”

Zander Nosler and Charlie Cronk founded Kitsbow in 2012 with focus on craft, style and function. Self-appointed “fabric geeks,” Nosler and Cronk believe that the beauty and unmatched performance of the line is in every detail of each garment. Kitsbow wool is sustainably sourced from Australia and New Zealand, and delivers the highest breathability and moisture regulation. On the other side of the world, in Switzerland, passion for fabric development and manufacturing means the creation of technical fabrics that expand on what is possible in terms of water repellency, durability and fit.

Creating the perfect apparel is not limited to fabric. From the snaps to the zippers to the reflective piping, every aspect has been considered and is the very best Kitsbow could find. Ultimately, the founders say, the goal is to make garments that perform at such a high level, the rider won’t want to wear anything else.

“Our foundation at Kitsbow comes from our passion: apparel and mountain biking, and the unique aspect of coupling the two,” said Nosler. “We feel so lucky to have found Verde—an agency that shares our passion and is a leader in communications in the active outdoor lifestyle markets.”

Kitsbow continues to innovate in the outdoor space to expand its product line. Last month, Kitsbow launched the Wind Vest ($175) – compact enough to remain at the ready in a jersey pocket and adapt to falling temperatures or inclement weather conditions on the mountain. Other staples in the line include the Soft Shell A/M Shorts ($269), Men’s Rudy Jersey ($220) and Mixed Shell Jacket ($369).
