HOSTAR Trailer Boosts Busy Marina’s Productivity

Few American harbors grant more compelling vistas than Liberty Landing Marina in Jersey City, New Jersey. Watched over by the Lady of the Harbor, the Statue of Liberty, and near Battery Park in New York City, it affords world-class sightseeing opportunities. Like many other marinas in the Northeast, this busy facility faced a massive cleanup following Hurricane Sandy. With the recent acquisition of an HST5000Y 25-ton hydraulic trailer from HOSTAR Marine Transport Systems, Liberty Landing now stands poised to dispatch any boat moving task.

This hydraulic trailer’s one-piece welded frame, hydraulic arms, arm inserts and parking stands are hot-dipped galvanized steel, inside and out. Slide-through, keel-supporting cross beams provide correct keel support and are made of reinforced aluminum. Equipped with four solid, air-cushioned industrial yard tires, this hydraulic trailer is crafted to meet the most demanding jobs, including serving all boats in Liberty Landing Marina’s 520 wet slips and dry storage. All hydraulic functions are controlled with a hand-held remote. With an overall length of 40′ and width of 9’6″, the HST5000Y yard trailer provides rugged and reliable service for powerboats up to 48′ and sailboats up to 54′.

Located within historic Liberty State Park, Liberty Landing Marina is the only facility that provides a calm basin for boat dockage on the Hudson

River. Its deep-water slips protect vessels from currents and traffic. The marina offers transient dockage, full-service maintenance, 24-hour fueling and on-site dining. One of 18 pre-eminent marine properties owned and operated by Dallas-based Suntex Marinas, Liberty Landing Marina is dedicated to providing clients with memorable experiences and superior customer service.

HOSTAR Marine Transport Systems’ innovative, state-of-the-art hydraulic trailers increase yard storage density and speed up loading and launching procedures. All of its products can be customized to meet specific needs.
