Chaco Expands OutCross Collection, Launches New Sandal Lines

From left to right, the OutCross Evo 3, the OutCross Evo MJ, the OutCross Evo 2, and the OutCross Evo 1, all for women.

For 2015, Chaco will be focusing on expanding its OutCross collection, launching the Z/Volv sandal collection, debuting the New Chill collection, adding to the Classic Z collection, and releasing a number of new accessories. But before we get ahead of ourselves, make sure to read the press release that details what shoes will be released this fall from Chaco. All of the shoes for 2015 feature Chaco’s LUVSEAT footbed, which is certified by the American Podiatric Medical Association.

    OutCross Evo Collection

Because of how well the first OutCross collection did, Chaco made the obvious decision to expand it with the OutCross Evo collection. Next spring, the brand will release new options for men, women, and children. The OutCross Evo 1, 2, and 3 are available for both men and women in an array of colors. The OutCross Evo 1 and 2 will retail for $110, and the 3 will retail for $115. For women, there will also be an OutCross MJ (Mary Jane) available for $100. There’s even an option for children with the OutCross Kids, which is available in eight bright colors for $55. “It’s a really great versatile [collection], great for light hiking, daily wear, and travel,” said Kara Armano from Backbone Media.

    New Chill Collection

This collection includes leather sandals that are perfect for everyday wear. For women, there’s the Cordova ($90), the Sol ($80), the Abril ($85), the Sofia ($110), and the Dorra ($100). For men, there’s the Cabrera ($90), the Finn ($95), and the Kirkwood ($85). Each sandal features premium leathers, pigskin-lined straps, and non-marking EcoTread rubber that includes 25 percent recycled content.

    Z/Volv Collection

This collection is an upgrade from the Classic Z sandals, incorporating a bit larger of a platform because of an athletic-inspired midsole and sidewall design. It features an EcoTread outsole and great comfort thanks to a new PU compound. In this sandal collection, there are four options for women and two for men, as well as two flips. The Z/Volv and Z/Volv 2 are available for both genders, and the Z/Volv X and Z/Volv X2 are available for women. All of those retail for $100. The collection also includes the Z/Volv Flip and Z/Volv Flip Synth, which retail for $65 and $60, respectively for both men and women.

    Classic Z Collection

As the traditional collection by Chaco, the offerings of the Classiz Z expand each year with the introduction of new colors and designs. For next spring, the ZX/3 Yampa will be released in five different colors for women. The sandals have three interwoven webbing straps. All will retail for $105.
