    Video: Swimming with Polar Bears

GoPro partnered with the Arctic Exploration Fund to create a short film that follows a family of polar bears as they travel around the Arctic Ocean looking for sea ice. In an effort to spread awareness about global warming and how it’s decreasing the amount of sea ice available to these animals, filmmakers chose to transport the audience into the world of the polar bears.

The video was shot fully with the GoPro HERO3+ camera by Arctic Bear Productions, which is based in Victoria, British Columbia. The Arctic Exploration Fund is a nonprofit organization that was created in 2005 with a mission of arming wild animals with cameras in order to gather new information regarding their travel, eating habits, behavior, and more. That information is then used by researchers to help determine the future needs of the animals, with climate change in mind.
