On Thursday, Red Bull published a video of top snowboarders testing out the brand new double halfpipe it built in Aspen, Colorado. The two halfpipes, each more than 550 feet long and 68 feet wide, were constructed side by side with a four-foot spine between them.
Red Bull touted this creation as the first time a double halfpipe has been built, but as soon as the news about construction was released, many others in the snowboarding community begged to differ.
Regardless of whether or not this was the first time a massive double halfpipe has been built, it still managed to catch the attention of big names who were interested in riding it. Check out the video below of day one of riding.
