Polar Bottle has hired two new full-time employees and promoted one current production team member — rounding out the company’s busy season with a total of five new hires and two company promotions so far this year.
Alison Banik has joined the Polar Bottle Sales team, and she brings her years of experience working in the print industry. Banik lives in Boulder with her husband Gary and two children. She spends her time enjoying the outdoor Colorado lifestyle, biking , hiking and skiing.
An avid snowboarder, Graham Mendell moved with his wife Kyla to Colorado from Massachusetts in July and joined the Polar Bottle® shipping department a few weeks later. A Massachusetts native, Mendell moved to Colorado to be closer to the mountains to snowboard in the winter and hike and mountain bike the rest of the year.
After working at the company for a little more than a year, Amin Halimovic was promoted to production supervisor. Halimovic started at Polar Bottle® when he was a student at Boulder High School, where he graduated in May 2013. Outside of work he likes to play football and basketball. Like many Polar Bottle® employees, Halimovic was first connected to the company through family. His cousin, Nechko Gaizbara, was the very first Polar Bottle® employee when the company was founded back in 1994.
Polar Bottle also took on more than a dozen temporary employees since January to fulfill spring and summer orders.
