Arnold came onto the ultrarunning scene as an associate editor for Trail Runner magazine in Carbondale, Colo. After finishing third in her first 100-miler at the Leadville 100 in 2010, Arnold knew her running potential had not yet been met. In just three years time, Arnold is now recognized as one of the top endurance athletes in her sport. Her 2013 season highlights include first place at this year’s Leadville 100 and first place at the White River 50M.
