    Wildflower Hike Planned at Prairie State Park June 1 in Missouri

    Visitors will have the opportunity to join a park naturalist for a walk among green grasses and colorful flowers to learn more about the amazing prairie ecosystem. Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, the hike will take place on Saturday, June 1 at 10 a.m.

    Participants should meet at the Prairie State Park Nature Center and dress for hiking across the prairie, which includes long pants and sturdy shoes. The hike will last about two hours covering 1.5 to 2 miles.
