Colorado’s Lake Pueblo State Park Implements County’s Stage II Fire Restrictions

Lake Pueblo State Park has implemented Pueblo County’s Stage II fire ban due to the continuing high fire danger conditions. The Pueblo County Stage II fire ban prohibits any open burning, including campfires, warming fires, charcoal grill fires, fireworks and any other type of open flame. Smoking is also prohibited, except in an enclosed vehicle or building. Fires contained within liquid or gas fueled stoves are permitted. Additional restrictions apply at the Rock Canyon Swim Beach. The fire ban will stay in effect until further notice.
