    Barr Lake SP Announces Overnight Adventure Camps for Kids


    BRIGHTON, Colo. – Barr Lake State Park is offering youngsters a rare opportunity to spend the night in the park starting Friday, June 10. Kids will eat dinner, play games, work in teams, ride the pontoon boat with park rangers, exercise their nocturnal skills in observing wildlife on a night hike, sleep under the stars, and relish a hearty breakfast with new friends followed by a tree planting project.

    The program, designed for kids ages 8 to 13 only, starts at 5 p.m. on Friday and continues through Saturday, June 11 until 11 a.m. No accompanying adults required. The fee per child is $15. There are only fifteen spots available and reservations are required. Please contact the Nature Center at (303) 659-6005 to reserve a place. An outline and list of supplies will be provided after registration.
