Snow Sales Manager

    Responsible to develop, manage and execute a sales and marketing strategy for the POC snow product line. Also responsible to direct, mentor and oversee the related sales staff. Responsible to maintain clear lines of communication between product development, marketing, warranty and sales service departments and respective to the POC snow sales force. Will also assist when necessary with tradeshows/events involving the snow business.

    Essential Functions

    1. Responsible and authorized to develop, implement, direct and manage all aspects of the POC line, including (but not limited to) developing, implementing and monitoring strategies and budgets for sales and marketing, service and warranty programs, sales forecasts, dealer network, trade shows and clinics, sales meetings, customer service; and to communicate these strategies formally and regularly to the other areas of the BD organization.
    2. Responsible and authorized to hire, direct, manage and mentor the POC snow sales force within BD policy guidelines and approved budgets to carry out sales strategies and goals.
    3. Responsible and authorized to speak for and about the POC line, both in the market place, and within BD.
    4. Responsible and authorized to coordinate closely with the appropriate BD departments in developing and managing procedures, systems and timelines for purchasing & maintaining cost effective inventory levels of all POC snow product.



    • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
    • Preferred: Master’s degree in related field

    Work Experience

    Required: Minimum 7 years sales, marketing and promotions experience in the snow/outdoor industry, the significant portion of which has been in technical snow, snow apparel business. Proven track record in creating and implementing successful sales, marketing and promotional strategies and budgets for above. Direct experience with retail merchandising, building retail relationships mandatory. Experience using the internet for research, marketing and sales purposes essential.

    Skills and General Experience:

    • Extensive experience and on-going participation in snow sports required; as is an in depth knowledge of the outdoor industry.
    • Proven ability to develop successful sales strategies and integrate them to a tactical level by territory, by dealer and with the sales force.
    • Strong analytical skill and ability to translate findings into proactive, results driven initiatives
    • A proven track record of successful teamwork, as well as the ability to work and lead in a collegial fashion is essential.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong sales and presentation skill set.
    • Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point

    Required licenses: Valid Driver’s license & clean driving record, valid passport
