This position, the Controller, will play a pivotal role in the continued growth and success of the company. Much the same as many high-growth and entrepreneurial organizations, Ibex has done a great job building a market reputation for superior product while also developing a loyal brand following. The organization maintains a product-centric bias that is equally balanced with an emphasis on brand-building and operational execution/service. Ibex is poised to take advantage of a multi-channel distribution model that includes, wholesale, international/distributor, corporate and two flagship retail locations. The Controller will be an integral part of a dynamic, high-growth organization that is part of an industry sector—natural fabrics and merino wool—that is still in the early years of consumer adoption.

The Controller, reporting directly to the CFO, will support the leadership team in management all core operational functions that support the Ibex mission—Finance, HR, IT and Operations. The Controller will be responsible for the management of all regular finance tasks and supporting the CFO in the leadership of the Finance team. This position will also play a key role in developing and refining Ibex’s director level leadership team. As Ibex continues to grow, there is an increasing need for our organization to be led at all levels.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

• Support the CFO in all financial and fiscal management aspects of company operations
• Provide leadership and coordination with the administrative, business planning, accounting, and budgeting efforts of the company
• Maintain a financial reporting system with controls and standards to safeguard company assets
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reports
• Manage marketing collateral
• Hands-on design/ layout development and execution in coordination with outside graphic designers.
• Comfortable with both traditional and interactive online media.
• Provide quality assurance on all creative deliverables while maintaining project deadlines.
• Building and maintaining a team rapport with marketing group & project managers.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain the timely and accurate processing and recording of financial statements and supporting schedules
• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and yearend financial close
• Manage administrative support departments, specifically AR, AP and Credit
• Annual physical inventory and valuation
• Manage Sales Tax reporting
• Budgeting and financial analysis
• Manage cash flow analysis
• Provide financial support and guidance to executive team
• Help translate critical financial information to all levels of the organization
• Comply with bank, governmental, investors, and CPA reporting requirements and requests
• Support the CFO in all bank, governmental and investor relationships
• Act as point person on all audits
• Develop operational systems to support the growing needs of the company

Requirements

• 3-5 years of hands-on Controller level responsibilities in a small to medium sized company
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or similar experience
• CPA or CMA preferred
• Expertise in NetSuite Software highly desirable
