    Data Entry Coordinator – Swell

    The Data Entry Coordinator position is responsible for accurate and timely entry of merchandising information including Vendor definitions, product setup and purchase order creation. New Vendor setup occurs frequently and is the first step in defining products within the merchandising system, working with Finance to ensure cross-system records match. Next step is SKU creation which is primarily performed through data entry and automated systems. Depending on urgency, may require direct manual input into merchandise system. Final process to complete data setup is Purchase Order entry. Critical to visibility of open-to-buy and receiving process, Purchase Order entry must be performed within service level agreement.

    Key contribution is consistently entering data in an accurate and timely manner equally for all merchandising departments. Coordinating tasks to fully support catalog drops, promotions and other strategic business factors in alignment with company commitments and goals. Proactively identify efficiency improvements and process changes where applicable.

    Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

    • Vendor setup in merchandising system
    • SKU creation and maintenance
    • Purchase Order entry and maintenance
    • Price change coordination and validation

    Education and Experience:

    • 1-2 years data entry
    • On-line specialty store and/or retail business experience
    • Experience with Ecometry system a plus
    • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent

    • General internet and computer skills knowledge (Outlook, Excel, Word)
