Teton Gravity Research (TGR) is seeking a strong leader to role will oversee all new production business development both domestically and internationally, and will be a senior executive and member of the Strategic Management Group.

TGR is a leader in the production, aggregation and sale of action sports media. The Executive Producer / Head of Production will be tasked with three primary responsibilities.

• Create, pitch and sell new film and television concepts to networks, media houses and partners
• Oversee physical production including budgeting, staffing, creative direction and delivery.
• Assist with marketing and distribution across all platforms

The Executive Producer/Head of Production will work hand-in-glove with the company Founders Steve and Todd Jones, the CFO, Director of Online media, all of whom comprise the Strategic Management Group.

The EP/Head of Production will be responsible for aggressively expanding content creation in new and existing categories and channels, strategically expanding the footprint of TGR into international markets, and developing a portfolio of productions to market and distribute.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely with the co-CEO’s to identify film topics in multiple action sports that will command substantial sponsorship dollars and a valuable fan base
• Build TV activity to support the production of 3+ episodes series per year, up from 1-2 currently
• Raise finance through sponsorship and sale of projects
• Identify and source production crew and staff to physically produce features at the highest level of production caliber TGR is renowned for
• Identify new sales and distribution strategies for TGR features
• Communicate with TGR Online and Marketing regarding promotion of teasers, trailers, releases and available content

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 to 10 years experience and exceptional track record of success in media financing, creation, production and distribution.
• Demonstrated skills in strategic, business development and building collaborative partnership agreements
• Experience working collaboratively with a senior management team
• Ability to balance success in meeting aggressive sales goals with the sensitivities and capabilities of other internal divisions
• Experience building and managing an energetic production team to create high quality cutting edge content
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical capabilities with an emphasis on reading and interpreting data
• Sound strategic thinking capabilities and the ability to anticipate trends and turn insights into action
• Strong planning, prioritization and project management competencies
• Ability to work in and cultivate a team environment
