Follow Kara’s Training for the 2014 New York City Marathon
Strava, the online network connecting the global community of athletes, welcomes elite athlete Kara Goucher. Today’s announcement follows her 2014 New York City Marathon race confirmation. With the support from Oiselle, Skechers, Nuun Hydration, Zensah and Soleus, Kara will be competing in the 2014 New York City Marathon in addition to pursuing her third Olympic Games. Kara made her marathon debut in New York City in 2008, where she placed third in the race. She competed on the U.S. Olympic team in 2008 and 2012.

About Kara Goucher
Kara Goucher is a professional runner, inspirational mentor, proud mother and loving wife. She graduated from the University of Colorado with three Division I NCAA championships in cross-country, the 3000m and 5000m. She is a two-time Olympian, an American record holder, World Championships bronze medalist, and one of the most accomplished female distance runners of all time.
