Pat’s Backcountry Beverages, the leaders in environmentally-responsible craft brew and natural soda concentrates, announces that its Carbonator Bottle Starter Kit and all-natural, pure cane sodas are now available at 27 REI retail locations across theU.S. This first-of-its-kind system enables the on-the-go traveler to makea carbonated beverage from any location.
“By providing outdoor enthusiasts with an efficient way to make carbonated beverages in the backcountry, while reducing waste and space in their packs, it makes sense to team up with REI for distribution of our products to this demographic,” says Scott Kinsey, vice president of sales and marketing for Pat’s Backcountry Beverages. “We have a lot of momentum and big plans on expanding to more REI locations throughout the country.”
The Pat’s Backcountry Beverages Carbonator Bottle Starter Kit comes with the patented Carbonator Bottle, five soda flavors and six carbonation activator packets. The sodas are made from all-natural ingredients, meaning no preservatives and no high fructose corn syrup. Made from pure cane juices, each having a unique, bold flavor. The sodas are loaded with vitamins – C, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12 – and each packet makes a 16-ounce serving. Compared to a 12-ounce soda can, the Pat’s BCB soda concentrates weigh 87 percent less and take up 89 percent less space. Soda flavors (in Cola, Ginger Ale, Lemon Lime, Pomegranate Cola and Root Beer) and activator packets are also available for purchase at REI separately from the kit.
Pat’s Backcountry Beverages was built with one goal in mind – make carbonated beverages accessible anywhere your adventures take you. By simply adding your soda flavor of choice, water, an activator packet and shaking side-to-side, the result is being able to enjoy a refreshing soda almost anywhere. The Carbonator Bottle also doubles as a 20-ounce water bottle, making this the ideal kit for backcountry trips. The soda packets can also be used with a Soda Stream at home to enjoy. Pat’s brew concentrates are also available at select liquor stores and online to 45 states. To learn more about Pat’s Backcountry Beverages, visit www.patsbcb.com.
