In 2011, Carissa Moore won her first ASP Women’s World Tour Champion title. Following the win, she found herself in a strange transitional period. Becoming one of the best surfers in the world had been her dream since she was a child, but now that she had succeeded, she felt confused about what to aim for next.
“I’ve reached this goal that I’ve dreamed of achieving my whole life, and I really didn’t think about what I was going to do after it,” she says in the video.
But in 2013, the 21-year-old surfer took the title again.
