A preliminary map has been released by Ski Utah for One Wasatch, which will combine seven Wasatch Front ski resorts in Utah into one mega resort.

“Connecting seven of Utah’s finest ski resorts while preserving both our water quality and an unrivaled backcountry experience is not an impossible task,” Nathan Rafferty, president and CEO of Ski Utah, said in a news release. “Today we have decided to move a step forward in the vision process by conceptualizing lift alignments on a map to continue providing information to the public, encouraging dialog and listening to feedback about these potential connections.”

The plan for the connection of resorts was announced in March, and it will become North America’s largest ski area at 18,000 acres. The hope is to increase tourism and offer visitors even more value when purchasing a resort pass.
